Rules and Regulations

We want our facility to be a safe environment for all dogs so we have a couple rules that we ask our clients to follow below. A waiver will be required to sign at the time of drop off.

All Dogs on a Leash

For your dogs safety, all dogs must be on a leash at all times coming and going from the Kennel. Please keep kids and pets in vehicle while checking in. We will set up the room first and then bring your pet in last, on a leash

Pick up and Drop off Times

- Mon-Fri: 7:30 am to 9:00 am or 4:30-6:00pm
- Saturday and Sunday - Please book a time
If arriving late, please call at least half an hour before you arrive.
No entrance is permitted with out booking an appt.

Food & Toys

Please bring enough food for the duration, plus a couple extra days. Even if they are only staying one night please. Small Toys and blankets allowed however please no bones as these can be a choking hazard.
Please ensure that all food is labeled with dogs name and instructions on how much to feed.
Yes, we do have a fridge for raw food.

Types of Dogs

We accept all breeds however we do not accept dogs with any behavioral aggression issues.
We accept dogs in tact or in heat however they must be a good fit for the Kennel and get along with other dogs.
If your dog can not be mixed with any dog for any reason other then aggression please email us with your concern. We do group the dogs in specific categories according to their needs.

Payment

For all boarding we request 50% payment due at booking or 7 days prior to check in and other 50% due upon pick up.

For daycare, 100% is due at drop off unless you are a regular client, we do offer punch cards or monthly rates.

Currently we only accept Cash or E-transfer however we hope to be accepting credit in the near future. Please send all e-transfers to admin@carlsonhills.ca

Vaccinations

All dogs are required to provide up to date vaccination records to Carlson Hills including Bordatella (Kennel cough), Canine Distemper, Para Influenza, Parvovirus, Hepatitis/Adenovirus(DAPP), and Rabies. Not only do we have the well being of your dog in mind but we also have little new born puppies being born at the Kennel.

Tours

We would love to provide you with a tour at your convivence so you can see what Carlson Hills is all about however please kindly reach out to book an appt. NO DROP INS PLEASE!

What to bring:

Vet records of their current vaccines
Dog food (enough for their stay plus a couple extra days)
Leash and collar. Please no choke chains or harnesses while in daycare or boarding.
We have raised dog beds however if you feel like your dog would be more comfortable with its on bed or blanket, please feel free to do so however dogs tend to chew these.
