Frequently Asked Questions

We are always here to answer any questions you have but we have gathered some frequently asked questions to better assist you.

What should we bring when boarding our dog?

We request that you supply your own dog’s food. A change of food can cause loose stool. No dishes needed. Dog Beds or blankets are also welcome however we do have dog beds onsite.

Do you require our dogs to be vaccinated?

All dogs upon arrival must have documents to show they have up to date vaccinations including kennel cough vaccination and up to date booster shots. We cannot accept your dog without proof of vaccinations.

Are we allowed to tour the kennel?

Yes, absolutely! We want you to feel comfortable leaving your fur baby with us. However, we asked that tours are kept to a minimum and wear booties as we don't want unnecessary germs that can be susceptible to our newborn puppies.  Tours must be booked in advance.

Do you accept intact males and females?

Yes, we do! We group each dog depending on their behavior, age, sex, etc to ensure that all dogs get their proper excise and have fun while they are here.

Do you use bark collars?

No we do not unless the owner has approved it or brought their own and only after all options have been exhausted! If a dog is barking we assess the situation and attend to the matter at hand. If the dog barks over night the owner is then notified when picking up that they may need to bring one for its next visit so they are not upsetting the other dogs.

Every dog is different and some dogs will show nothing, Some dogs could get the runs due to over excitement or separation anxiety. If your dog is only used to minimal exercise on leash, they may over do it. Dogs love to play here and do not understand that they need a rest. Just like us when we go on holidays!  The runs can be easily fixed by giving them a bit of rice or pure pumpkin for a few days to settle the stomach and much needed rest from their holiday. Dogs are given time to rest and are separated if we see any signs of stress.

Yes, check out our luxury rooms. We make this affordable when you have multiple dogs stay in one room. Please note that they have to be from the same household though and not friends dogs. We also are able to adjust our kennel if need be as well.

My dog is really old and needs extra help, are you able to accommodate him?

Yes and we are agreeable to providing him with medication if required. We also have a senior group when they play outside and if they need help we are there to help.  Please reach out to see how we can best accommodate him.
